Login Overview
¶
Jetfire supports user login. By default if no
user
is specified a 'Guest User' logs in when
client nexus
is started. The verfication of a user's login creditentials needs to be handled externally to Jetfire. Upon client startup a user Guid or user name representing the user to be logged in is passed to the client nexus.
Users can have
roles
. When a user's role matches an role assigned to an object, then the user has following abilities:
The ability to execute methods that have been declared with the
'access' construct
.
The ability to set and get properties that have been declared with the 'access' construct.
Access to
workspaces
(and their objects) when the workspace has had its 'Access Control List' set.
